About the event

Before the course, registered participants will receive the Case Study to read and digest before the training date. During the program participants will learn, ask questions, and also participate in a quiz to help assimilate the learnings, test their understanding and possibly reward their participation.

At the end of the training, participants will receive the full training materials via email.

At the end of the course, each participant is expected to know:

1. How to calculate their Gross Profit.

2. How to calculate Depreciation.

3. How to calculate Interest.

4. How to calculate their Break-even point.

5. Understand how to differentiate Fixed Costs from Variable Costs.

6. How to prepare their Income Statement (when you cannot afford an accountant).

7. How track their cash position with a Cash budget.

8. How to track their inventory and know the value of goods in their store.

Facilitator’s Profile

Chimdi Azuike is a Strategy & Operations Executive. The foundation of his career was built in the advisory practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where, as a Management Consultant, he participated in and led several consulting engagements for top tier private sector clients in FMCG, Energy and Financial Services industries as well as Ministries and Development Agencies in the Public Sector.

In the food and beverages industry, Chimdi held senior leadership roles with leading indigenous and multinational companies including Honeywell Group and Coca-Cola. In these companies he led various functions including Business Intelligence & Research, Strategy Development, Corporate Strategy, Logistics & Customer Service and Performance & Planning.

Chimdi has also run several of his own businesses including Base 2 Brands, Citrus Lifestyle and Caishen Capital Management.

Chimdi studied Electrical Electronics Engineering as his first degree and has an MBA from the Lagos Business School. His natural interests are in Entrepreneurship and General Management while his hobbies are reading, listening to music, and travelling. On the family side, he has one beautiful wife and two adorable kids.
